A small group of racers, known as the Bike Heroes, dominated the motorcycle Grand Prix World Championship in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Eddie Lawson, nicknamed 'Steady Eddie,' had a stellar career, competing in 127 GPs, finishing on the podium 78 times, winning 31 races, and winning the World Championship four times. His consistency and few mistakes made him one of the greatest riders in history.
