The Fish Fall in Love (Mahiha Ashegh Mishavand)

Atieh runs a beloved restaurant on Iran's Caspian coast until her ex-fiancé Aziz returns after 20 years. To keep it open, she cooks his favorite dishes. Director Ali Raffi, inspired by Persian fables, uses food to explore love and life. The film is an old-fashioned, romantic tale with stunning visuals and a focus on food, family, and friendship.
